1. Overview

SheetBolt is committed to customer satisfaction. This Refund Policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds are issued for our pay-per-use invoice conversion service.

2. Pay-Per-Use Refunds ($5/$10 per conversion)

2.1 Eligible for Refund:

  • Technical Failure: If our service fails to process your file due to a system error (not user error)
  • Severe Accuracy Issues: If the conversion accuracy is below 80% due to our algorithm failure (not due to poor file quality)
  • Service Unavailable: If the service is down during your conversion attempt
  • Time Limit: Refund requests must be made within 24 hours of purchase

2.2 NOT Eligible for Refund:

  • Successful Conversions: If the Excel file was successfully generated and downloaded
  • User Error: Uploading the wrong file, corrupt files, or unsupported formats
  • Poor Source Quality: Low-quality scans or images that are unreadable
  • Minor Inaccuracies: Small formatting differences or edge case extraction errors
  • Change of Mind: No longer needing the conversion after completion

3. Monthly Subscription Refunds ($20/month)

3.1 Free Trial:

New subscribers receive a 7-day free trial. Cancel anytime during the trial with no charge.

3.2 Subscription Cancellation:

  • Cancel anytime from your account dashboard
  • Access remains active until the end of the current billing period
  • No partial refunds for mid-month cancellations

3.3 Prorated Refunds:

If the service experiences major downtime (>24 hours cumulative in a month), we will issue a prorated refund for the affected time.

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund:

  1. Email refunds@sheetbolt.pro within 24 hours of your purchase
  2. Include your transaction ID or receipt
  3. Provide a brief explanation of the issue
  4. If applicable, attach the problematic source file and generated Excel file

We will review your request within 2 business days and respond via email.

5. Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds are processed within 5-7 business days
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method
  • Depending on your bank, refunds may take 5-10 business days to appear in your account

6. Abuse Prevention

We monitor refund patterns to prevent abuse. Users who repeatedly request refunds for valid conversions may have their accounts suspended.

7. Chargeback Policy

If you initiate a chargeback without first contacting us for a refund, your account will be permanently suspended. We encourage you to reach out to our support team first to resolve any issues.

8. Service Credit Alternative

In cases where a full refund may not be warranted, we may offer service credits for future conversions at our discretion.

9. Exceptions

SheetBolt reserves the right to make exceptions to this policy on a case-by-case basis for extraordinary circumstances. All refund decisions are final.
